It is quite a few years since I last saw a Nixie tube device in operation. I came accross this site and thought I've got to have one!
The Kit itself is nearly all PTH components so assembly is straigtforward. The assembly instructions(download from site) are well written with lots of colour pics which make assembly a doddle.
It is important to follow the instructions as there are a couple of tests that need to be done mid way through the assembly. Some of the resistors can be fiddly (along with the smaller IN-17 tubes) so make sure you have a good pair of tweezers to hand.
Once completed there are a range of customiseable features that you can spend hours adjusting to your hearts content.
Overall it took me approx. 4 hours to build, with another 30 mins for the case. A good well thought out project overall.
