Micro Nixie 5750 Kit (No Tubes)

A unique clock among the PV collection which uses a very small nixie tube display. There are several styles of nixies with differing heights that are compatible with this kit. The tube lead spacers and variations of the tube base make LED base lighting more challenging than other nixies. This PV kit is unique in that the tubes are illuminated from the back instead of underneath. As called out in the manual, it is advisable to mount and test one tube at a time, and if you are using the acrylic case, it is also advisable to do a test fit to check the tube height with the case. Also, the height of the backlighting LED's can line up with the case top or above the case top and can be different for the particular nixie tube that is used. The finished results are very nice and the available nixie tubes have very pleasing digit shapes compared to other smaller tubes. It looks great in the case and the finished clock performs very nicely! Like other PV kits, the construction and operation are excellent.
