QTC+ Kit for IN-14 and IN-16 Tubes (No Tubes)

I ordered the In14 kit with tubes, all arrived very well packed. Everything was fully explained in the manual and a few hours later I had a working clock. The qtc idea is a very good one, makes it very easy to change tubes. The standard of the kit is first class....

I've never soldered anything before attempting this kit and it worked perfectly the first time. I like to dive in the deep end on new topics and electronics was one deferred far too long. I did my research and have no regrets in choosing this kit. The instructions are crystal clear (OK, so what's the deal with the caps being blue in some shots and yellow in others?). This wasn't really a problem and it actually added a little drama to the project. I also bought the case and have to say that it is nicely made. Well done overall! My next kit has already been shipped....

I must echo Ian's review. This was an excellent project; so much fun to build and simply beautiful to look at once finished. I now have this mounted in a box with a perspex lid that shows the LEDs off so stunningly. Again, my wife wishes me to keep this, even though it was bought as a display for my local college. Will be building one again soon, I have no doubt....
