QTC+ Kit with IN-14 Tubes Included. RARE TUBES !!

Absolutely beautiful kit and final product! The instructions are very well written and easy to follow even with a very basic understanding and limited experience working with electronics. Clock operation and user guide are very easy to follow and has a surprising amount of useful features and customization options. I had some complications with overlapping and missing numbers when powering up the clock with the tubes for the first time, but the support and troubleshooting help that Pete provides is absolutely exceptional! I am a US customer and even through different time zones, Pete was very responsive and often replied to my emails within the hour. Overall excellent kit and customer experience!!!...

This was a really great kit for a very fair price, especially considering the shipping from across the pond. The PCB was really well made, and when combined with the instructions made assembly nice and simple. I did have a few issues, though they were very minor and not enough to meaningfully impact the rating. During assembly there was a minor issue where the RGB LEDs and the 5v regulator had a narrow pin spacing, so during soldering my clumsy hands (and likely poor technique) bridged a few of the pins. Fortunately those are easily fixed, so it's not a big deal. I also think that the the neon bulbs sit too low relative to the numbers, so I ended up having to raise them up a bit which was a bit annoying. Lastly, my kit didn't come with any of the 6x2 pin headers for plugging in the QTC modules, so I had to scavenge a handful of 6x1 headers from my parts bin. Again, not a big deal, just kind of annoying. All in all, I'm super pleased with the kit, and the resulting nixie clock goodness....

Great kit! The instructions were easy to read and understand. All the parts were east to identify (I had the research myself how to read a resistor). It is a good idea to use the smallest soldering tip you have....

This was my first kit and believe me I am no electronic engineer so when you look at the parts it is a bit daunting and then you make a start and you know what they are actually quite easy to assemble, you don't need any experience with electronics just a steady hand with a soldering iron. Best this is the support from Pete is exceptional, as it was my first attempt at something like this I asked a lot of questions and received awesome support. If you like these clocks (and who wouldn't) and fancy a go at making one I fully recommend one of these kits, instructions are clear and really easy to understand. It went so well I got the bug and went and bought another kit for the Z566M with the orange tubes which came out unbelievably stunning. I'm now saving for the amazing Dalibor Farny R|568M tubes and when I can afford them will most certainly be buying the kit from Pete to mount them on. 1st class service Pete keep it up :o) ...

To be honest, I haven't touched a circuit board in about 20 years, but I went slowly, following the excellent instructions and after about 5 hours it was finished. Worked first time! Excellent kit, captivating to watch and watch, and watch… Easy to program and just a really nice touch of history. It gives that 'warm glow' as it were. The kit is good build quality and I also purchased the black finned case at the same time. A decision that I most certainly do not regret. The finished clock is very nice and a credit to the designer....

This kit was purchased for my 16 year-old son together with the plexi-case, clear version, optional power supply and Micro-GPS receiver. Plus reel of solder! The Kit arrived perfectly packed, the PCB is a very high quality and all components well protected. Downloading the comprehensive assembly guide made for easy construction with stage by stage testing. Support by email and online is almost instantaneous. The resulting product is a work of art, dynamic in operation and of course a fully functional accurate clock with alarm and date. Highly recommended....
