I have purchased several of these kits both for myself and for others, as gifts! Pay attention to the instructions and read prior to starting! The build takes me a whole afternoon to complete and is SO CATHARTIC I almost wish I could build them weekly. It is so relaxing for me and I enjoy soldering the kit together. So Pete, if you need someone to build a few for you... I'm your man! When giving as a gift... Makes sure you give them either the PDF file for the build or at least the instructions for setup. You will blow their mind when they see what you have built for them!...

I have built a lot of Nixie clock kits from many different companies, and the ones PV Electronics sells are top notch! Their designs are excellent, and the boards are the best I've worked with. The Firmware options include everything you would want. Also the support you get here is the best....

This kit is easy to assemble if you have some basic soldering experience and builds into a beautiful clock that I am proud to display in my living room. It was so much fun that I have ordered another kit from Pete for my bedroom....

Blown away with the size of the digits and how much of a difference that makes. I was nervous about having to source the tubes and trust an unknown eBay seller but that worked well and the tubes arrived carefully packed. I have a couple of trivial quibbles with the kit but love the finished product. It is with out a doubt, my favorite Nixie clock. The size of the digits makes it a clock I can use in the living room and share with visitors. Paying for all the parts required for a large tube kit hurts but I forgot all about that once it was up and running....

2nd Nixie clock I got from PV. The result is, once again, stunning. When I compare the Spectrum 18 with the (1st) IN14 clock it seems a bit big ;-) But I love it. Especially in combination with the XTERNA (adapter). The instructions are clear en easy to follow. Got the tubes via Ebay straight out of Moscow. Followed the feedback as a guide (as suggested). Thanks for that tip too! Maybe I'll make a wooden casing for it (oak). The Visio case is nice too (and is a nice template for later on). In short: superb kit, excellent result! Very happy. Regards from the Netherlands :)...

This is my second IN-18 Clock. The first being the Blue Dream. The quality of the Spectrum is top notch. The PCB is very high quality with good traces. Instructions are great. There are not very many IN-18 kits our there, but of the two that I have had the pleasure of assembly and owning, this is the best!...
